Some of our on-going Bay St. Louis & Waveland projects...
Coleman Avenue Bench Project
The Bay-Waveland Main Street Association is seeking donations of $500 each for benches to be placed in downtown Waveland and Bay St. Louis. The benches are made of extremely heavy duty, high-quality, commercial-grade metal. They are produced by the Mississippi prison system, which has a good reputation for its metal work. A small plaque will be placed on each bench with a message to be determined by the donor. This includes memorials and honorariums, and to showcase a business. Bay-Waveland Main Street has already placed 15 benches in downtown Bay St. Louis, but we still need more. Now that the Waveland City Hall has returned to Coleman Avenue, it is time to populate downtown Waveland with its own unique bench. Please show your pride in the community by making a donation of a bench for Waveland or Bay St. Louis.
For more information, please call Nora Wikoff at 228-467-4236.
The order for benches must be placed by Wednesday, May 30th.
You may download a pdf order form here.
